The PowerDash platform is designed with flexibility as a guiding principle. Energy data can enter the PowerDash data stream from a variety of devices and applications. Supported devices include solar inverters, solar hot water systems, wind power systems, electric meters - virtually any kind of system that produces or consumes energy. PowerDash can accept data feeds directly from such devices, when this capability is present. Or PowerDash's own proprietary data logger, with a proven track record in the field for over five years, can be used to collect and transmit data.

PowerDash can transmit the data from the collection point using a variety of methods, including mobile broadband and wireless radio networks.

Once this energy data is transmitted to PowerDash, customers gain the benefits of a robust, secure server infrastructure. Benefits include:
